歐盟新增6項化學物質至REACH法規高關注物質(SVHC)候選清單(Candidate list)
2013年6月20日成員國委員會針對6項有害物質鑑別為高關注物質達成了一致協議。在公眾諮詢文件及意見證實了這6項物質的危害特性符合REACH法規第57條，因此將這6項物質列入候選名單。
最初共有10項物質提報列入高關注物質，但目前還無法將4種酚類苯並三唑物質(UV-350，UV-327，UV-328，UV-320)鑑定為高關注物質。這些物質最初提出為高關注物質的原因在於具有非常持久性和生物蓄積性(vPvB)或持久性、生物蓄積性和毒性(PBT)屬性。
自2013年6月20日該日起6個月內，生產商和進口商有義務通報歐盟化學總署，假如產品含有這6項物質並同時滿足以下兩個條件：
1於成品中之含量超過0.1% (按重量比)；
2這物質的全年總數量超出1噸
